Wedding Policy
One of the most important decisions you will ever be called upon to make is marriage. Bogey Hills Baptist Church and its staff will do all that they can do to make this a meaningful day.
The following are a few guidelines that will insure an atmosphere of sacredness.
1. The members of Bogey Hills Baptist Church and non-members are welcomed and encouraged to use the church for weddings.
2. All arrangements regarding the availability of needed facilities must be made through the church office, and the pastor should be consulted regarding his schedule before announcing any plans for a wedding. .
3. The couple to be married must be counseled by the pastor before the ceremony, unless other arrangements are made. Also, the pastor is to conduct the wedding unless the pastor and the couple to be married mutually agree upon other arrangements.
4. Members will not be charged for the use of the church facilities as your faithful tithes and offerings have provided the building. There will be no charge for the use of the church if either the bride or the groom is a member of Bogey Hills Baptist Church. However, because preparation and cleanup from weddings is not a part of the custodian's regular work, a custodial fee will apply to everyone. Fees are to be paid by the day of the rehearsal.
